Welcome to all new and incoming band families! We have several upcoming meetings for you to attend. We cannot wait to meet you!
(Optional) Incoming Family Meeting:
February 21 (Tuesday), 6:30 PM, RHS Band Room. This optional meeting is for current 8th grade band students and parents (and upperclassmen new to RHS) who have questions about band, especially those who are undecided. General information about the program will be provided to help make an informed decision. If you are already confident about joining the band program, this meeting is not necessary.
*Required Parent Meeting for New Families:
March 6 (Monday), 6:30 PM, RHS Band Room. At least one parent of any freshman or student new to RHS must attend (upperclassman/returning parents may attend if desired, but it is not required). It is extremely important that at least one parent/guardian attends this meeting, as there are many aspects to band that we will be discussing: specifics about band camps, enrollment, online forms, volunteer opportunities, student meals, etc. There will be a substantial amount of information covered, including time for specific questions.
