Jazz Updates (March-April 2024)
- The Jazz Band performed at District Jazz Festival at Calvin University on Thursday, March 14. They received STRAIGHT 1’s!!
- Rockford HS Jazz Band and the Northview HS Jazz Band were joined jazz pianist/organist Bobby Floyd (MSU Jazz Artist in Residence) in concert on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
- Both the Jazz Band & Jazz Combo performed at State Jazz Festival on Wednesday, March 27 at East Kentwood HS. Both groups received Straight 1’s from all adjudicators.
Next up: The Jazz Band will be taking part in the Essentially Ellington Regional High School Jazz Band Competition at MSU on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
